MIKCA Web Solutions Refund Policy
Please take a moment to read and familiarize yourself with MIKCA Web Solutions Refund Policy. This Refund Policy is in place to ensure MIKCA Web Solutions is able to provide the highest level of service possible. By registering for any of MIKCA Web Solutions services, you are stating that you have read and accept all of the terms and conditions outlined in this Refund Policy.
Section (1) - Refund Policy for New Accounts
Web Hosting Accounts - All newly purchased web hosting accounts are covered by a 30 day money back guarantee. Should you become dissatisfied with our services at any point within the first 30 days of holding an active account, we will refund your money in full unless otherwise specified at, or prior to, the time of purchase. Notification of your intent to cancel your web hosting account must be given prior to the 31st day of your contract.
Domain Names - All newly purchased domain names are final sale at the time of purchase. You are the sole owner of any domain names registered through our services upon payment in full. Should you decide to leave our service for another provider, domain names are transferable and therefore not subject to refunds. Changes to registered domain names (incorrect spelling, etc...) can be requested no later than 48 hours after the time of purchase. MIKCA Web Solutions offers no guarantee on the status of requested changes to domain names.
Domain Name purchases are subject to refunds under one condition only. If the domain name requested is currently registered by another individual, you will be given the choice of receiving a refund in full for the purchased domain name or a credit to put towards either the purchase of another domain name or some other MIKCA Web Solutions service.
Section (2) - Refund Policy for service renewals
Web Hosting Renewals - Refunds for web hosting account renewals will be granted to customers requesting a cancellation of their service no later than 10 days after the renewal date. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
Domain Name Renewals - At no point will MIKCA Web Solutions automatically renew a domain name on behalf of a customer. Customers will receive notification of a domain name's pending expiration prior to the expiration date. It is the customer's responsibility to log into their account and purchase a domain name renewal through our control panel and billing system. No refunds will be granted for domain name renewals under any circumstances.
Section (3) - Refund Policy for Design and Programming
MIKCA Web Solutions requires a non-refundable deposit amount of 50% on all services relating to Computer Graphics, Web Design/Development, Programming and Database Design. This deposit is due, in full, with the signed work agreement before MIKCA Web Solutions can begin work on your project. This deposit is non-refundable.Either party may terminate any web design project, software development project or consulting project at any time for any reason. A Termination Notice must be received prior to project termination.
Termination of any web design project will result in a refund to the client of all fees paid beyond the deposit amount, minus the amount already incurred in the development of the project by the date of cancellation, based on the amount of $60/hour. We reserve the right to determine the amount of work completed and appropriate fees. If we determine that payment is required and no payment is received within 10 days of the terminated project, then you are considered in default. If a customer defaults, the Customer agrees to pay all attorney and collection agency fees, if necessary, during any collection process.
Refunds will be processed and mailed within 5 business days of the cancellation date and will be made using the same method of payment as the original (refund by check or refund to credit card).
**Please be advised that the cancellation of an account does not release you from financial responsibility. If your account has a past due balance and you are not eligible for a refund, the MIKCA Web Solutions Accounting department will continue collection efforts.
