My friend says he can build me a Website, Why
shouldn't I just use him?
That may be the case, but will they put a great deal of thought into its
design? Work regularly to ensure your site can be found? Will the site
load quickly? Will they resolve problems when you need them to? Can they
offer effective optimization and promotion services?.

The
Five Steps To Creating Your Website
1. Website Requirements:
An initial meeting/interview
gives the opportunity to discuss your requirements from a website, and
MIKCA Web Solutions approach to meeting these requirements. This is
followed by pre-design decisions, such as domain name, target audience and
marketing plans.
2. Storyboard and Graphic Layout:
The storyboard defines the overall structure of
the website, and gives an overview of the pages. Our professional graphic
designer then utilizes your companies existing artwork, logos, color
schemes and trademarks etc. to develop a preliminary template for your
homepage. Once these storyboards are approved, development begins.
3. Development:
At this stage, we develop the pages defined in the
storyboard with your text and graphics etc.
4. Testing:
The testing step is critical and requires teamwork.
Verification of spelling, of pages loading properly in both Internet
Explorer, Netscape, and Opera, and of course,
testing to ensure that all links work.
5. Release:
This final step allows browsers of the World
Wide Web to view your website. Although during the previous steps your
website was available online for development and your viewing, it was
hidden from the general public.
